Some of my favorite things. (In no particular order)

Getting a head start on a cat or a squirrel in a chase… even if I still don’t catch them.

Sleeping outside on the grass on a warm, sunny afternoon.

Tennis balls… new ones, old ones, yellow ones, even brown ones (doesn’t even matter why they’re brown)

The smell of dog butts.  I don’t know why either but I like it.

The smell of a human stranger’s crotch.  I REALLY don’t know why…

Finding a toy I forgot I hid under the sofa.

Toys with loud squeakers.  Yes, I know it annoys my people.  Why do you think I only play with them when they’re trying to watch TV?

Pooping.  Yes, even better than peeing on something.  And pooping or peeing in a place that will embarrass my people is just icing on the poop cake.

Meeting new people.  Goes with my liking the smell of a human stranger’s crotch…

Open front doors.  Oh, yeah, and open back doors… run, run, run.

The path less traveled.

The path well traveled.

The woody, thorny or muddy area immediately between the less and well traveled paths.  Particularly when I’m on lease and can drag a person with me.

The letter “Z”  Why do you think we zig-zag when we walk.

Getting caught in the rain.  … and doggie pina coladas :>)–

Crickets, frogs, spiders or anything else small enough I can chase around without actually moving.

People food.  Well actually, people food stolen off a person’s plate when they aren’t looking.

People food accidentally dropped on the ground.  It’s like manna dropping down from Heaven.

Other dogs… even one’s that aren’t Golden.  And a couple of cats.  (shh… don’t tell anyone.  it would ruin my he-dog reputation)

Holding hands with my woman person.  It’s a long story.

Belly rubs, scratches behind the ears and a flurry of “good boys!”

Getting brushed out with my Furminator brush.  (I’ve heard that “product placement” is the new 30 second commercial break)

Treats.   I REALLY like Bil Jac Liver treats.  (Man, oh, man… I am smooth with the product placement or what?  None of my readers probably even caught that I was trying to get free stuff.)  … Opps, I hope the Furminator ad Bil Jac people didn’t see that last part)

Treats.  (That one is worth barking 2 times)

Riding in the car.  Especially when I end up at the dog park or beach.

Tennis balls.  Yeah, I know I already mentioned tennis balls but you can NEVER have too many tennis balls.

My Dog Whisperer poster that Cesar Millan autographed for me.  (Had to do a little name dropping).

My tail.  Bless those poor little dogs without tails.  It’s really hard to Keep On Wagging! without a tail.  Maybe we need a Keep On Shaking Your Butt! t-shirt?
