Okay… so we all know that Dads can be kind of… how do I put this politely… GROSS…  They burp, they leave smelly socks on the floor and they sometimes wear clothes with holes in them and they yell at the TV during sports events (And yes, the refs CAN hear them through the TV).

But… without Dads how would any of us know the ‘pull my finger joke?’  Or how would we have learned what happens when you drop a pack of Mentos in to a Coke bottle? (come on, we all know that the person who figured that out was a Dad trying to get out of doing yard work…)

And… think about it… no disrespect to Mom’s here, but no matter how small their contribution to the whole process… without Dad’s there would be no us… GULP… who would chase the squirrels then?

So this year for Father’s Day why not get your dad, or Granddad or Step Dad or Step GrandDad or Uncle who was like a Dad or … you get the picture right?… something that he would actually enjoy.  This year, no ties (the one he got last year is still in the box), no Old Spice (although it does make a great insect repellent) and for goodness sake… NO UNDERWEAR OR SOCKS (no matter how many holes his favorite pair of boxers has…)
