… I’m not sure what it’s for either… at first I thought it was a Canine Party 2008 political rally, you know with all the butt sniffing going on and everyone handing out treats, but then I saw a sign that said ‘DogFest 2008′ so I’m guessing it’s something to do with eating dogs…  just in case, I’d recommend avoiding that big tent over there since with the sign out front that said ‘Hot Dogs $2.00′

… oh… it’s ‘Fest’ not ‘Feast’ … whew …that’s good to know  … guess I better keep working on this reading thing… sniff, sniff… yeah, you’re right it does smell good over there, but it just doesn’t seem right to eat another dog…  you have?  No Way!  …oh… it’ not really dog?  They’re made out of what?  Yucccckkkk… I didn’t know you could eat those parts of a pig…  and you say your people eat them too… well that figures… people will eat just about anything…  sure, I occasionally eat a

… me?  I’m from Pawley’s Island…. I’m not sure how far it is from here but it I was able to get a nap in on the way here… well actually it must have been a little more than a nap because I woke up with a long trail of drool… ummmm, never mind, you probably don’t want to know about that…  

So, you’re from Wrightsville Beach…  cool, I live at the beach too… Hey, do you have those mean beach squirrels… I mean ‘crabs’ at your beach?  … you know they stay and fight, right?  … well, actually it was more embarassing then painful when I found out …

… have you met any other interesting dogs today, I mean other than me ? (… said with the utmost humility) Yeah, I saw that one too… you’re right, he looked just like a bumble bee… can you imagine how embarassed he must bee… (get it… bee… thank you, thank you… I’m here all weekend, don’t forget to tip your waitress) … I thought it was odd but then I saw this really big dog with a pet monkey on his back… what was that about? I heard the dog’s name was George… that’s curious don’t you think? oh yeah and there was the one dressed like a pumpkin… you’re right odd bunch of dogs here…

… oh, and I also met this really cute puppy Golden Retriever named Ella who needs a home…  I asked my people to let her come home with us but they said something about me already being a handful… I can’t image what they were talking about…  I mean, it’s always that boy’s fault… sure, I get blamed for tracking mud into the house, but I keep trying to tell them it’s the boy…  What?  well, yes, they do sort of look like paw prints but I still say it’s the boy….   anyway, I sure hope some of my blog friends know someone around here who can give Ella a new home…

… well, it looks like my people are getting ready to go somewhere else… it sure was nice meeting you Roxanne… sniff, circle… sniff, sniff… I hope we can have an adventure together sometime…  just have your people call my people…. oh, you have email too?  Excellent, I’ll drop ya a line later…
