Max the Golden Retriever’s Overheard Words of Advice
Published by Max September 8th, 2008sniff… sniff… anyone looking for some good advice? Here are a couple of things I over heard while laying on my favorite carpet…
Don’t bite the hand that feeds you… especially if the hand has a peanut butter flavored treat in it… It seems like this should go without saying, but you never know…
Dog park etiquette for dogs… if you are the ‘new’ dog at the park it is appropriate to allow the ‘old’ dog to sniff your butt before you sniff theirs… Interestingly though, if you are a person who is visiting a dog park with a dog it is not appropriate for either the new or the old person to sniff the other’s butt… Not sure how people make friends but that’s the rule…
Dog Rule Number One: If you can’t eat it or play with it, pee on it and walk away. (I read this somewhere recently so I’d give credit if I could remember where credit is due)
Dog (and man) can not live on bread alone… sometimes they just have to have a bone…
I ate your fortune cookie when you stepped out of the room, but I remember what the fortune said… “A wise man travels to Max’s blog to read and be happy… a really wise man subscribes to Max’s newsletter and lets the blog and happiness travel to him” Smart cookie I say…
