… hey… where’d that other dog go? He was right here on the sand a minute ago…. Maybe I’ll check out the group of people taking pictures of something in the water…. oh, no…. it’s that dog and it looks like he fell into the water… I wonder if the water snuck up on him too…. Better call for help… Bark! Bark! People, somebody…. Can’t you see the drowning dog?  Why are all these people just taking his picture instead of jumping in to save him?

… wait a minute… he’s not drowning…. He’s playing in the water…… odd though, it looks sort of like he’s posing… what’s that he’s got in his mouth? Oh, it’s some kind of toy…. Definitely some kind of ball…. Not a tennis ball but definitely a ball….. I’ll get a closer look when he gets back to the sand…..

….. oh, I see now… he’s playing fetch with the person…. Wow… look at him dive into the water…. It looks like he does this all the time… Bark… Hey, what’s up? Sniff, sniff…. I don’ think I’ve smelled you before… sure, go ahead… sniff away… Okay my turn again…. No, please, check again… nope, definitely haven’t smelled you before… so what are doing out here? …Cool… Sure I know how to play fetch… Never played it in the water though…  how do you keep from drowning?   oh, doggie paddle…

… Me? Mostly with tennis balls… yeah, they’re my favorite… your ball looks pretty cool though…. It floats? Sure that makes sense….. where’d you get it? Oh, a ball company gave it to you so you could get your picture taken with it… pretty cool… I once got a bandana sort of for the same reason… I like getting free things that I can show off on my website… [note from person: Hint, Hint…..;>)]

So, you live around here? Oh, in the really big house over there by that sand hill… Cool place… Why all the bicycles on the porch? You can’t ride a bike can you? Oh, your old roommate left them… Hey, by the way, be careful when you go back home… I just came from that way and there is a dead jellyfish on the sand… Take my advice and don’t lick it or sniff it too hard… Oh, you see them all the time at the beach… Yeah, I’ll be sure to watch out for them…

… So you spend a lot of time playing at the beach? Oh, that much time huh? Sure… I can see the tan line around your collar… And I’m guessing you got those great abs from all the fetching balls out of the water? Wow! You do that many crunches everday? And you never wear a shirt? Sure… if I had abs like that I’d show them off too…. bet the lady dogs really dig that… you don’t know my friend Molly do you? … good… I mean… too bad you’d really like her…

… Well McConaughey, it was cool meeting you… I just moved to the beach so maybe we can have a play date sometime… sure, I’ll get my people to talk to your people… Hey, dude, you just remember to keep on wagging alright… what’s that? Yeah, and I’ll just keep living… oh, yeah, by the way… what’s with all the people taking pictures of you? …. well I’m outta here… going to do a little more exploring…. I has hoping to find some squirrels to chase…. Seen any of those on the beach? No squirrels huh…
