When my humies brought me home - They told everyone who came to visit me that i was "the new baby"! By the end of the summer four of my mom's friends all got "new babies,too". Two are Black Labs, one is a Westie and then there's my best friend, Reggie, he is an American Bulldog who lives across the street. We have other goldie's in our neighborhood that i can stop and visit/play with,too. I would also like to have a "play date" with the other new little gray thing that is definitely not a rabbit or cat- my mom calls it Squirrel and boy can it run and climb the big tree fast! I tried to climb right up after it and almost did,too. Until i realized, "Hey! I'm a dog! Dog's can't climb trees...uhoh". And flat on my back I went. It would not come down. So practiced my best sitting manners to show him i am a good doggie and waited for it to come down. Then i showed him my puppy eyes and gave him my very best hang dog look- i even practiced it on my mom (you have to look over your shoulder when you give one or it isn't as effective) and i even used my "baby grrl" yip instead of a bark so i wouldn't scare it.
